Weird pants problem? Need advice?

1st: wet the dark side first so it doesn't bleed over, then wash it with a mixed batch on warm. You can wash anything in one load as long as it's not new and is on warm (helpful tip for quick loads). And to help with the lint balls, you can get a little scrubber thing that you can usually find by fabric softener, or, you can put about a cup of white vinegar in a large load at the very end rinse cycle, or you can throw it in after it's done and set it to an end rinse cycle, if that's an option on your washer. I hope this helps! :)
