What happens when a girl ovulates? Is it light pink-ish, brown-ish?

Me and my husband tried the at home turkey baster method last tuesday and again on sunday. According to an online ovulating caculator I was most fertile saturday and sunday. Yesterday which was wednesday and the day before I had pink-ish, brown-ish vaginal discharge, and had it almost all throughout the day. Does this mean Im ovulating now (or was)?
