Embarrassed but... my belly button smells?

i have a deep belly button because i'm just a tab bit chubby and i clean myself really well (daily showering) but my belly button looks red and raw inside and always collects fluff that looks like lint and it has a horrible smell to it? Is there something wrong with me? this sounds gross and weird but HELP?
